Abdulla Yameen on behalf of the Government and the people of Maldives extended heartfelt congratulations to Nursultan Nazarbayev on his re-election as the President of Kazakhstan.
“The election victory is an endorsement of the successful performance of your government, and is testament to the trust and confidence that the people of Kazakhstan have in your leadership. While expressing the hope that the relations between our two countries will be further strengthened in the years to come, allow me also to convey to you my personal good wishes for your health and well-being,” the telegram reads.
The President of Maldives also wished Nursultan Nazarbayev fortitude and strong resolve in discharging the important duties of his position, as well as new heights of progress and prosperity for the friendly people of Kazakhstan.
