Advisor to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Aliya Rakisheva

Aliya Rakisheva was born in 1980 in Almaty.

In 2001, she graduated from the Kazakh State Law Academy.

From 2001 to 2002, she worked as Leading Specialist of the Department of international law and protocol, Department of international law and property protection rights of the state, Department of legislation at the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From 2002 to 2005, she held the positions of the Head of the unit of the Division for expertise and preparation of draft laws of the Department of legislation, Head of the unit of the Department for coordination of legislative activity, systematization of legislation, then Head of the Division of legislation at the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From 2005 to 2007, she was the Consultant, Head of the Legal department of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From 2007 to 2013, she worked as Head of Administrative division – Chief of Staff of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From 2013 to 2018, she served as Head of the State and Law Department of the Presidential Executive Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From April 2018 to October 2019, she held the position of the Deputy Chief of Staff of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Since October 2019  Advisor to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

She speaks Russian, English (with a dictionary) languages.

She is awarded with the medal “Eren enbegi ushin” (For distinguished labor) (2018).
