The issues of granting citizenship of Kazakhstan have been addressed to at the meeting.
After signing the corresponding Decree by the Head of State, 640 representatives of various ethnic groups who have arrived to Kazakhstan from the countries of near and far abroad will become the new citizens of Kazakhstan.
Gulshara Abdykalikova stressed that following independence there had been a steady increase in the number of people wishing to become citizens of Kazakhstan. Over the years, the country’s international prestige has grown significantly, which indicates the socio-economic stability, inter-ethnic harmony, sustainable development achieved under the leadership of the President of Kazakhstan.
In her speech, the State Secretary noted that on the eve of the Day of State Symbols, the citizens of the country would be especially pleased to welcome new Kazakhstanis and wished them a happy life and fruitful work for the benefit of Kazakhstan.
Gulshara Abdykalikova expressed her confidence that by becoming worthy citizens of the republic, they would contribute to the further development and prosperity of sovereign Kazakhstan.
Following the meeting, the Commission adopted relevant decisions and recommendations.
