During the ceremony, the letters of credence to the Secretary of State have been delivered by the Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Kazakhstan in combination: of Burkina Faso - Antoine Somda, Grand Duchy of Luxembourg - Jean-Claude Knebeler, New Zealand - Ian Hill, Montenegro - Igor Jovovich, the Republic of Iceland - Sigridur Berglind Asgeirsdottir , the Republic of Moldova - Dumitru Braghis, the Republic of Paraguay - Ramon Antero Diaz Pereira, the Republic of Rwanda - Williams Nkurunziza and the Republic of Sudan - Nadir Yousif Al-Tayeb.
G.Abdykalikova has stressed that the ceremony takes place on the eve of the 25th anniversary of our country’s Independence. The Secretary of State congratulated the Ambassadors on the official start of their diplomatic mission in Kazakhstan and expressed hope for their work to contribute to cooperation capacity building between the two countries.
The Secretary of State expressed gratitude to the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Burkina Faso to join the Charter of the Islamic Organization for Food Security.
G.Abdykalikova noted Kazakhstan's interest in participation of Luxembourg companies in the implementation of "Nurly Zhol" program and the second stage of the industrial-innovative development program in Kazakhstan.
The Secretary of State pointed out that a special interest for our country is cooperation with New Zealand in the agro-industrial sector, in particular, transfer of innovative technologies and the actualization of joint projects in the field of agricultural products deep processing in Kazakhstan.
G.Abdykalikova has noted that Montenegro is one of Kazakhstan’s most promising partners in the Balkan region and expressed interest in developing cooperation in tourism.
The Secretary of State stressed that the special interest for Kazakhstan is development of cooperation in the field of "green economy" with regard to the leadership of Iceland in the field of using geothermal energy.
G.Abdykalikova focused attention that the pivotal area of bilateral cooperation with the Republic of Moldova is the agro-industrial sphere.
- We are ready to export the Kazakh grain and livestock products to Moldova, the Secretary of State said.
G.Abdykalikova also noted that Paraguay provides up to 90% of its electricity needs from renewable energy sources, and expressed confidence that the country's participation in "EXPO-2017" will give an opportunity to present to the world the best achievements in the field of alternative energy.
The Secretary of State congratulated the Ambassador of Rwanda on the African Union Summit effective holding the current year.
During the conversation with the Ambassador of Sudan G.Abdykalikova said that she counts on "Islamic Infrastructure Integration" Project assistance.
In turn, the ambassadors of foreign countries have expressed keen interest in expanding contacts in a wide range of issues.
In conclusion, the Secretary of State has invited the ambassadors of foreign countries to participate in "EXPO-2017" trade show in Astana.
