In her greeting, Gulshara Abdykalikova drew attention to the words of the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, The women of Kazakhstan played an outstanding role in the formation and strengthening of the country's Independence.
The State Secretary stressed that thanks to the support of the Head of State, the country is carrying out large-scale work on progress of women's entrepreneurship, protection of motherhood and childhood, and empowerment of women.
Further Gulshara Abdykalikova noted that one of the key priorities of the state policy in cardinal improvement and expansion of business environment. The strategic goal is to achieve, by 2050, at least 50% of the contribution of small and medium-sized businesses in the country's GDP.
- Kazakhstan is currently pursuing a policy of avoiding raw dependence and creating an intelligent innovative economy. In this direction, women's entrepreneurship is developing dynamically. The prevailing niche in business for Kazakhs is a service sector: healthcare, education, culture, information, fashion industry, etc. Cooperation with financial institutions is actively developing, the Secretary said.
At the end of the meeting, Gulshara Abdykalikova wished the business women of Kazakhstan, the UAE, Egypt and Georgia good health, great success and prosperity.
The meeting was also attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Arab Emirates to Kazakhstan M. Al Jaber, President of the UAE Council of Women Entrepreneurs under the President of the country F.Kamber Al Awadhi, President of the Union of Business Women of Georgia E. Maisuradze, and representatives of the business community of Kazakhstan, United Arab Emirates and Egypt.
