The President was informed on the situation in the business sector, issues of domestic entrepreneurship, as well as the results of the Chamber’s activities in this area.
The Head of State was provided with information on the development of the agro-industrial sector, the need for working capital for farmers and rural producers, and the availability of finance for other sectors of the economy.
In addition, the two discussed issues of import substitution and improving the efficiency of public procurement. President Tokayev noted that all available resources should be used to stimulate business activity and developing production.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Timur Kulibayev also discussed the effectiveness of state programs supporting entrepreneurship.
Timur Kulibayev reported on the implementation of the projects “Government for business”, “Bastau” and “Jas kasipker” (young entrepreneur) aimed at the development of mass entrepreneurship and human capital.
