During the meeting, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was presented the information on the results of the National Welfare Fund for 2019.
According to Akhmetzhan Yessimov, the main production and financial indicators of the Fund have increased. Revenues from sales increased from 10.1 trillion tenge in 2018 to 10.7 trillion tenge in 2019, while net profit from 1.1 trillion tenge in 2018 to 1.2 trillion tenge in 2019. The Fund’s assets increased by 10% and reached 26.5 trillion tenge.
Samruk-Kazyna’s CEO also informed on the implementation of a set of measures aimed at supporting domestic production and ensuring the share of local content in purchases.
