The Head of the State greeted the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation and noted the importance of holding such a meeting in the current economic conditions.
In his turn, D.Medvedev thanked Nursultan Nazarbayev for providing scope for discussing topical issues of cooperation within the EEU and expressed his hope for the further development of bilateral relations between Kazakhstan and Russia.
- We are gratified by the success of friendly Kazakhstan in connection with EXPO-2017 exhibition organization. This is actually a major event for you, and for our union as a whole. Current economic issues within the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council are under consideration today. I would like to thank you for the excellent working conditions and express hope that our bilateral relations will develop as well and steadily as it has been in recent years, the Chairman of the Russian Federation Government said.
