The partnership in the energy sector is being actively developed, both in the sphere of the effective development of Kazakhstan’s energy resources and their transportation to the world markets. “We consider your country as one of the vital strategic partners in the Asia-Pacific region. A constructive and confidential dialogue has been established between our countries at all levels. The bilateral structures are efficiently functioning. The legal framework is being increased as well. Given a high technologic level of your country, Kazakhstan is interested in cooperation with Japan companies taking part in the joint high tech projects. I hope that the adoption of the “Road Map for Strengthening Economic and Investment Relations” will serve this aim. The head of state noted that Kazakhstan has friendly and neighbourly relations with the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
“I support the efforts of the Afghan Government on stabilisation of the socio-economic situation in the country. We are building schools, hospitals, bridges, repairing and reconstructing roads and providing free food supply. We have launched a special educational programme for Afghanistan, under which a thousand of Afghan students will study in the universities of our country until 2020. The current and next years are the most pivotal in the development of the Afghan statehood. We hope that the Afghan people will go through this stage with dignity and find their way to a stable and secure society. We are interested in it and will provide assistance,” the President of Kazakhstan said.

“We are thankful to Pakistan for constant support of Kazakhstan’s foreign policy initiatives. Your country is one of the active participants of the CICA. Pakistan, which has a high economic potential and an advantageous geopolitical position, is a prospective trade and economic partner of Kazakhstan. There are bilateral projects in the field of agriculture and processing of agrarian products. Kazakhstan, as a huge producer of cereals, can supply it to Pakistan. We could study the prospects of cooperation in this area,” the head of state said.
The President of Kazakhstan stressed that our country was interested in the expansion of a full-scale cooperation with the Sultanate of Oman.
“I remember very well my visits and talks with Sultan Kabus bin Said and know that you are also interested in this cooperation. We highly appreciate the friendly assistance provided by the people and the Sultanate at the beginning of our independence. We support friendly relations, both bilateral and multilateral. Given the economic potential of the two countries, we need to enliven businesslike cooperation in the spheres of agriculture, petrochemistry, energy, transport, tourism and construction. We invite the Oman companies to participate in the implementation of large industrial projects, as well as exchange of advanced experience and knowledge in the sphere of oil production and transportation of energy resources,” Nursultan Nazarbayev said.
