Nursultan Nazarbayev and Nikolai Patrushev discussed current state and future prospects of bilateral security issues along with key issues on the international agenda, including the situation in the south-east of Ukraine.
The sides also discussed economic cooperation within the Eurasian Economic Union and new challenges related to the situation in the Middle East and Afghanistan.
Nikolai Patrushev has visited Kazakhstan to participate in the regular consultations between the Security Councils of Kazakhstan and Russia.
