The President used the Sailau electronic system and voted at the elections of deputies of the Parliamentary Majilis of the Republic of Kazakhstan and of the capital maslikhat.
Nursultan Nazarbayev reminded that according to the constitutional amendments, the elections of Majilis deputies of the Republic of Kazakhstan were held by party lists for the first time.
“We increase the authority and influence of political parties. Elected to the Majilis deputies will have to pass laws necessary to strengthening our statehood, peace, accord, prosperity and improving the life standards of all kazakhstani people,” the President stated.
