The Forum is held every three years and is aimed at the open dialogue, consolidation of the civil society and public authorities’ efforts.
The Forum was attended by the parliamentarians of Kazakhstan, representatives of the central state and local executive bodies, heads of diplomatic missions, the delegates of the regional forums - representatives of the regional and national NGOs, international organizations, expert community and the media.
Secretary of State voiced the Head of State’s welcome address to the delegates. "During the jubilee year of the 25th anniversary of Independence the entire country totals all the pluses of our Kazakhstan's way. The substantial part of its massive success comes from the civil society’s contribution. Let your active and creative work always be aimed at improving the well-being of our society and strengthening the country's independence!", the address of the President of Kazakhstan reads.
VII Civil Forum of Kazakhstan is the logical culmination of the regional forums of non-governmental organizations, in which the ways of solving the issues facing the civil sector have been identified, recommendations have been made and the delegates have been elected.
The Forum delegates will meet with the heads of central state bodies, when topical issues of improving cooperation between state bodies and civil society and the quality of social services will be discussed.
