Nursultan Nazarbayev got acquainted with the new multidisciplinary hospital and talked to members of its staff.
The Head of State noted that the medical centre meets all modern requirements, including appropriate professional competence of its personnel, high-quality equipment and functional building with several sections.
The President stressed the importance of further development of healthcare, which should positively affect the quality of life of the country’s population.
“Kazakh people go abroad for medical treatment, while after the introduction of such facilities medical tourists will come to our country. We have created decent working conditions, now you have to accomplish your tasks and improve population health,” he said.
Employees of the institution, in turn, thanked Nursultan Nazarbayev for the government’s attention to the development of healthcare sector, noting that it is a great honour and responsibility for them to work in a unique complex of the kind. They also assured the President in their readiness to provide qualitative medical care to the population.

Clinical Rehabilitation Complex with a total area of 84,000 square meters embraces 13 buildings, 4 clinics for 1000 visits per day, 35 structural units, as well as a 200-bed hospital. The hospital is equipped with modern technologies of leading medical equipment manufacturers.
The complex includes a unique diagnostic unit and a nuclear medicine department. Monitoring and management of the basic life-support systems of buildings and their infrastructure are carried out automatically.
The institution employs highly qualified personnel, including 11 doctors and 24 candidates of medical sciences, more than half of physicians have the highest category.
