In his speech at "Saryarka" cycle race track the Head of our State congratulated all people of Kazakhstan on the holiday of Nauryz, emphasizing the tradition of compatriots to celebrate it in the warm circle of family and friends.
The President of Kazakhstan noted that Nauryz Meiramy is the most beloved and long-awaited holiday among the people, having a thousand-year history and is celebrated outside ethnic or religious preferences.
At the same time, Nursultan Nazarbayev drew attention to the fact that Nauryz is a symbol of trust, friendship, brotherhood and stability of our country.
- This year we celebrate Nauryz with a special mood. Kazakhstan has begun a serious renewal. I have announced the Third Modernization Program, within which reforms of the political and economic systems are envisaged. We have made important amendments to the Constitution that improve public administration. The guarantees of our Independence shall become stronger, unity and consent will be consolidated. This will allow us to confidently look into the future and overcome the challenges of the world’s modern development. All the transformations in Kazakhstan have one goal - there is abundance and stability in every house and in every family under every shanyrak. That everyone has the opportunity to work peacefully for the country, educate their children and happily meet a new day. This is achieved by labor, which is provided by the state, the Head of State said.
The President of Kazakhstan, speaking to the event participants, emphasized the special significance of the spring equinox throughout the entire world, which marks the renewal and unity of people among themselves and nature.
- Joy in these days takes a root in the souls of people. During the holiday people visit each other, forgive old grievances and wish neighbors well-being and happiness. Nauryz reminds us of the importance of such eternal values as charity and mutual assistance, Nursultan Nazarbayev noted.
At the end of his speech, the Head of State once again congratulated everyone on the holiday of Nauryz, wishing happiness, good and prosperity.
Also, the President of Kazakhstan has visited an ethnic aul near "Khan Shatyr" Shopping and Entertainment Centre, with presentation of national products and sports competitions.
