At the plant, the Head of State got acquainted with the manufacturing process of assembling accumulator batteries and looked over the production units.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted that there had been a large-scale modernization at the expense of government assistance at the town-forming enterprise of the regional centre. In the past year it gave the option of increasing production to 2.5 million batteries, which are successfully exported to the CIS countries, Germany, Poland, China and the United Arab Emirates.
Talking to the staff, the President of Kazakhstan expressed confidence that the plant would be able to strengthen its competitive advantages by increasing exports to global markets.
