Kassym-Jomart Tokayev familiarized himself with the archaeological and architectural monuments of the Azret Sultan State Historical and Cultural Reserve Museum, and also examined the Khoja Ahmed Yasawi Mausoleum.
During the visit, the Head of State was informed about the progress of restoration work on cultural sites and betterment of the territory.
In addition, the President of Kazakhstan heard the report on construction of administrative buildings of the regional akimat, departments, as well as the Congress Hall, Media Centre, Uly Dala Eli Centre, Schoolchildren’s Palace, Tourism College, Astana Square, Musical Fountain, Service Centre and other social and cultural facilities.
