The leading start-up projects of the Centre (Chocofamily Group, Nommi project and SmartSatu platform) were presented during the visit of the Head of State, which are an Internet hypermarket for food ordering, air tickets sales, a market for goods turnover between suppliers of goods and their customers, and the development of a Wi-Fi router that provides a fast and convenient connection to the Internet around the world.
Nursultan Nazarbayev noted that the state pays much attention to the implementation of Digital Kazakhstan project.
- There is a specially appointed minister, the deputy prime minister, in each ministry there are people who deal with these issues. We shouldn't lag behind what is happening in the world. I hope that due to digitalization we will quickly raise labour productivity, especially in production companies, the President of Kazakhstan said.
In turn, co-founder and CEO of Chocofamily Internet Holding Ramil Mukhoryapov thanked Nursultan Nazarbayev for great attention to the IT industry and digitalization in general.
- We, as an IT community, are grateful to you for the Digital Kazakhstan program. Due to it, we are developing, and such growth rate is unlikely in any other sectors, except for information technologies. We feel the strength and confidence to become not only leaders of the Kazakhstani Internet market, but also to reach the international level and create large companies, the Holding’s head said.
Also, the Head of State was presented with the work of OpenAlmaty public reception office to resolve non-standard life situations not covered by the regulations of public services. For 7 months, 18,396 applications have been received, and 78% of which were promptly resolved on the spot.

The SmArt.Point project is a technological space in Almaty, where there are about 40 companies operating in the sphere of high technologies and creative business, with an aggregate turnover of more than $ 100 million. The sphere of activity includes such branches as electronic commerce, financial, automated logistics, media, software development, telecommunications, blocking, outsourcing of legal and accounting services, educational technologies.
The IT-hub occupies two floors with a total area of about 9,000 sq. m. Simultaneously, it can accommodate up to 700 people, renting personal places or offices with a capacity of 7-8 employees.
The facility is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. There are meeting rooms, play areas, sports hall. The Centre is organized based on co-working and bands people of different professions and spheres.
