The President of Kazakhstan got acquainted with the progress of building the Museum in Karasai district.
The Kazakh leader pointed to the need to reflect all the key milestones of the country's independence in the Museum's expositions, including the new capital city’s construction Astana.
Next to the Museum there will be a bas-relief picture, revealing all the historical stages of Independent Kazakhstan’s progress. In the centre of the ensemble there will be a flagpole with the National Flag.
In addition, during the working visit to Almaty and Almaty region, Nursultan Nazarbayev visited the village of Shemolgan and had an informal conversation with the fellow villagers.

The Museum’s construction is carried out at the expense of private funds. Completion of the facility’s construction is scheduled before December 1, 2017.
