The Head of State examined the new urban ice arena, built with the participation of Slovak investors as part of public-private partnership.
Nursultan Nazarbayev congratulated young hockey players, and in their face all Aktobe residents with the opening of the Ice Palace and made a memorable inscription on a symbolic puck.

The sports complex with a total area of 8,500 square meters allows year-round professional competitions in hockey, short track, figure skating, basketball, futsal, boxing, tennis, gymnastics, as well as mass skating. The arena seats over 2500 spectators.
