During the visit President Nursultan Nazarbayev looked around the premises of McDonald’s first restaurant in Kazakhstan and talked to its employees.
The 206-seat restaurant occupies an area of 863 square meters.
The company’s second restaurant is expected to open its doors in 2016, while 15 more will open across the country within the next five years.
Official opening of the restaurant in Astana will take place on March 8.
