During the meeting, the Head of the State was informed about the measures of landscape gardening the country’s regions, as well as the condition and development of forest plantation within the "green belt" of Astana.
Nursultan Nazarbayev has drawn the attention to the necessity of planting trees along roads of national importance, in particular, Astana-Shchuchinsk and Astana-Karaganda.
The President of Kazakhstan was made aware of the results of research and preparation of forest suitable soil for further gardening, planting of plants and adaptation of animals in the "green belt".
In addition, the Head of the State noted the importance of ongoing work on the capital city’s greening, including treatment of urban parks and construction of a botanical garden on the left bank of Astana.
- All kinds of plants and trees should grow in the botanical garden. It is necessary to create conditions for exotic plants from around the world, Nursultan Nazarbayev said.
In conclusion, the President of Kazakhstan instructed to keep working on gardening and planting trees.
