During the visit the Head of the State got acquainted with the exposition of the new Almaty Museum, which is the largest research and cultural centre, representing the entire spectrum of the region’s historical and cultural heritage.
The Museum collection includes more than 40 thousand exhibits, among which are works of art, a unique collection of Kazakh ethnography, the collection of household items from different ages and cultures, numismatics and others.
The Museum exhibition consists of 11 Rooms, where with the use of multimedia technology Almaty’s history from ancient to modern times is shown.
