During his working visit to the Republic of Turkey, the State Secretary has met with representatives of the Kazakh diaspora and Kazakhstan’s student community. The Kazakh diaspora in Turkey began to be formed from the 50s of the last century. Today it has about 10 thousand people.
The meeting was on discussing the main provisions of the President's Mesasage "New Development Opportunities in the Fourth Industrial Revolution". The Secretary noted that at present Kazakhstan is a modern and successful state. That has become possible through implementing the strategic course of Nursultan Nazarbayev aimed at improving the nation’s well-being. At the end of 2017, GDP grew by 4%, inflation - 7.1% and unemployment - 5%.
Gulshara Abdykalikova has noted that since the last year the third modernization of the country has been implemented, aimed at creating a new model of the economy, political reform and the renewal of public consciousness. The core of the modernization processes is Ruhani Zhangyru Project.
The State Secretary drew attention to the fact that in the Message the Head of State focuses on introducing the elements of Industry 4.0. Therefore, the first priority is to ensure economic growth based on achieving a new technological order.
The Message specifically mentions the importance of human capital as the basis for modernization. The task is to accelerate the creation of its own education system, covering the entire population. A key priority will be the development of the ability to constantly adapt to changes and assimilate new knowledge.
The ideal is a Kazakh who knows his history, language, culture, while being modern and speak foreign languages, with advanced and global views.
The Secretary of State stressed that the Message poses the main task as "To accord with the modern period, we have to unite in a single nation, a nation on the verge of a historic ascent in the conditions of the Fourth Industrial Revolution."
Concluding the meeting, Gulshara Abdykalikova urged the audience to keep on strengthening their ties with their historical homeland, to make their own contribution to Kazakhstan’s growth, to increase their favourable international image as an important and responsible participant in the global community through their effective work and good learning.
