The Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has laid a wreath at the Eternal Flame at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and honored the memory of the heroes who fell in World War II. At the end of the ceremony, the Head of State made muster of the march-past.
Tomb of the Unknown Soldier memorial architectural complex, built in 1967 in honor of the soldiers who fought in the battle for Moscow, is located near the Kremlin walls in Alexander Garden. The Complex has been granted the status of an object of cultural heritage of Russia, as well as the National Memorial of Military Glory.
