During the state visit Nursultan Nazarbayev with the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev laid flowers to the Monument of "Independence and Humanism", which is the national symbol of Uzbekistan’s nation.
The architectural complex on Independence Square includes a bronze globe with a map of Uzbekistan and a sculpture of the mother with a child in her arms.
The composition’s author is the famous Uzbek sculptor Ilkhom Zhabborov.
