During the telephone conversation, the US President congratulated Nursultan Nazarbayev on the successful holding of EXPO-2017 international exhibition in Astana and highly appreciated the results of the American delegation’s participation in this event.
The President of Kazakhstan expressed his condolences in connection with the natural disaster in the State of Texas, which killed dozens of people, and also wished for an early restoration of the infrastructure of the affected areas and the return of the local population to normal life.
The two leaders emphasized the importance of the first meeting, held on May 21 this year; in Riyadh within the Islamic World – USA Summit in order to strengthen cooperation between Astana and Washington.
