During the conversation, the leaders discussed the results of another round of the international meeting on Syria, held on October 30-31 this year in Astana. The sides stressed the importance of continuing the Astana process for a full-scale settlement of the situation in Syria.
The Presidents also reviewed the preparations for the XIV Forum of Interregional Cooperation of Kazakhstan and Russia, which will take place on November 9 in Chelyabinsk.
In addition, the leaders paid attention to the most topical issues of bilateral relations and the international agenda.
