On the sidelines of an Informal CIS summit, Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The two presidents discussed various aspects of the strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and Russia.
The leaders expressed satisfaction with the development of trade and economic relations between the two countries. They stressed the need to strengthen cooperation in education, digitalization, energy and other spheres.
“A very important point is the agreement in the education. Branches of leading Russian universities such as famous Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, Bauman Moscow State Technical University, we need to train specialists there,” Kazakhstan President said.
In turn, Vladimir Putin invited Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to pay a visit to Russia early next year.
