President Tokayev was briefed on the activities of the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia (PIF), one of the largest sovereign wealth funds in the world. Fund’s Governor Yasir Al-Rumayyan spoke about ongoing projects in various sectors of the economy.
The President noted that Kazakhstan is interested in the implementation of mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields, suggesting to establish close cooperation between the PIF and "Samruk-Kazyna" JSC, as well as "Baiterek" JSC National Holding for the implementation of projects of mutual interest.
The Fund, as well as other Saudi companies, is invited to participate in major investment projects in the petrochemical industry, in the development of green energy, metallurgical and mining sectors, and deep processing of agricultural products.
