The President welcomed Abdulrahman Al-Fadli, the Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and highlighted that his visit would practically enhance the further development of the two countries’ multifaceted cooperation.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev emphasized the significance of implementing the agreements made during his meeting with the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia.
“During my last visit to Jeddah, I had a meeting with His Royal Highness the Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. We agreed to cooperate closely and further strengthen relations between our countries. Our mutual agreements have already seen practical implementation and consistent follow up", the President said.
In turn, Abdulrahman Al-Fadli expressed gratitude to the Head of our State for the gracious welcome and hospitality and reiterated the Crown Prince's dedication to expanding mutually beneficial cooperation with Kazakhstan.
During his speech, the Minister emphasized the significance of food security concerns.
“Food security is of concern to the whole world, and we believe that Kazakhstan is in a good position to play a key role in this domain”, said Abdulrahman Al-Fadli.
The sides also discussed trade and economic cooperation and prospects of interaction in the agricultural and tourism spheres.
