The sides discussed the issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation, as well as the number of key priorities. Among them are the prospects for cooperation in the sphere of external security, including the strengthening of political dialogue mechanism and the development of trade and economy.
It was noted at the meeting that the EU is Kazakhstan’s largest trading partner with the EU accounting for more than $ 50 billion of Kazakhstan’s foreign trade and more than a third of foreign investments attracted to the economy of Kazakhstan.
