During the meeting the main ways of inter-parliamentary cooperation development between the two countries have been discussed, in particular, plans for legal decisions taken at the level of the Heads of the States.
President of Kazakhstan congratulated V. Volodin on his election as Russia’s State Duma Chairman.
The sides noted the importance of strengthening relations between the two countries, as well as the further growth of integration processes based on Kazakhstan and Russia’s strategic partnership.
At the end of the meeting Vyacheslav Volodin congratulated Nursultan Nazarbayev and the country citizens on the 25th anniversary of Independence.
- We see Kazakhstan’s progress. It has to be said that your country has made great breakthrough since gaining independence. They are the well-being of people, achievements in different spheres of economy, as well as the high rate of the capital city Astana’s development, the State Duma Chairman said.
V. Volodin’s visit to our country is his first official foreign visit as the Chairman of the State Duma.
