During the meeting, Kairat Abdrakhmanov reported to the President on the day-to-day operations of Foreign Affairs Ministry, as well as plans for the upcoming period.
The President of Kazakhstan pointed up the organizational and substantive issues of preparing the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building in Asia and the Summit of the Heads of the Caspian States.
In the context of the instructions given at the Government’s enlarged meeting, Nursultan Nazarbayev noted the special role of the foreign policy department in the process of attracting foreign investments to key economic sectors.
At the end of the meeting, the Head of State gave a number of specific instructions.
