During the meeting B.Sagintayev reported to Nursultan Nazarbayev on the results of social and economic development inside of nine months of the current year and fulfilment of crucial state-run programs.
The President of Kazakhstan made it clear that the basis for further effective implementation of all the ongoing initiatives during the following year had been created.
- First of all, there are already amendments to the budget. And all the needed government programs have also been adopted. In particular, the importance of a consistent industrial-innovative development of the country is clear, as well as adoption of measures to enhance the welfare of the population in the framework of Nurly Zhol Program, which includes establishing the efficient logistics and transport infrastructure, he said.
In his report the Prime Minister noted the upward trend in all key figures of socio-economic development of the country. The rate of inflation is at given parameters.
B.Sagintayev stressed that the instructions given by the President of Kazakhstan at the government’s enlarged session on September 9 the current year are being fulfilled in a timely manner. In particular, additional funding in the amount of 481 billion tenge has been seen and approved in order to stimulate the further development of the national economy.
The Prime Minister also turned attention to the commissioning of Kashagan oil and gas field with production output of 90 thousand barrels per day.
In addition, B.Sagintayev reported to the President on constant control of prices, primarily for food and essential commodities, the issues of uninterrupted heat supply to the population and social institutions, as well as timely facility commissioning within the framework of the Housing Program.
Also, Nursultan Nazarbayev was reported on the measures taken to further develop the country's export potential.
The President of Kazakhstan emphasized that the country had completed the harvesting campaign, and at present the government needs to work out the issues of grain exports.
- Good yield is observed in many countries, which are the largest producers of grain crops. High level of competition is therefore expected in this market. We have previously entered into agreements on the export of grain to a number of countries. As part of these deals one must decide upon the volume to be delivered, he said.
Nursultan Nazarbayev has given a number of specific orders at the end of the meeting.
