During the meeting, the Head of State stressed that Kazakh-Russian relations are fruitfully developing based on the principles of good-neighborliness and alliance.
- I am glad to see you in the city of Nur-Sultan, where Moscow State University opened its affiliate early 2000s. Today, it is successfully functioning, providing high-quality educational services for Kazakh students. As part of the recent talks in Moscow, President Vladimir Putin and I have underscored the current high level of bilateral cooperation in education, agreeing on its planned development in the future, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said.
In turn, the University Rector expressed his gratitude to the Head of State for the opportunity to meet, focusing on the productive nature of the long-term ties between the universities of Kazakhstan and Russia.
- I always have the warmest feelings for Kazakhstan and I am proud that the University’s affiliate is making an important contribution to the training of qualified personnel in demand at the new stage of modernization of Kazakhstan, Viktor Sadovnichy said.
In addition, the parties exchanged views on topical issues of cultural and humanitarian cooperation between Kazakhstan and Russia.
