In the course of the meeting the President held a meeting with the regional council and introduced the Atyrau Region Governor Candidate Baktykozha Izmukhambetov.
The President emphasized that there is a lot of work that should be done on the development of the region’s socio-economic potential.
In the course of the meeting former Governor of the Atyrau Region Bergei Ryskaliyev thanked the President for the confidence and wished the new leader of the region success in his work.
At the end of the working meeting, President Nursultan Nazarbayev gave a number of tangible instructions on socio-economic development of the region and improvement of the social well-being of the citizens in the region.
