Within the framework of the XVI Interregional Cooperation Forum Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Vladimir Putin got acquainted with the investment opportunities of the border territories of the two countries. They were presented a pool of ready-made investment projects.
The Heads of state were also presented a program of joint actions on the functioning of checkpoints on the Russian-Kazakh border. The road map envisages the complete construction of more than 40 road and rail checkpoints within five years.
