Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has received a telegram of congratulations from Prime Minister of Great Britain Theresa May on the occasion of being elected as President of Kazakhstan.
“In my welcome letter of March 27, I noted the growing strengthening of British-Kazakh relations. I am pleased that since that moment the ties between our countries have become even closer”, Theresa May writes.
The head of the Cabinet of Ministers of the United Kingdom noted the importance of further developing bilateral cooperation.
“I am confident that during your presidency, the United Kingdom and Kazakhstan will continue to cooperate in the political, economic and cultural spheres, as well as that the relations between our countries will grow stronger,” the telegram says.
