The State Commission on the Issues of Modernization of the Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter referred to as “Commission”) is an advisory body under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The Provisions on the State Commission and Its Composition have been established by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated April 13, 2007, No. 314
The tasks of the State Commission are the elaboration and adoption of decisions on the issues of increase of competitiveness and efficiency of Kazakhstan’s economy.
The functions of the State Commission include monitoring and efficiency assessment of measures taken by the state authorities and other organizations to increase competitiveness and efficiency of Kazakhstan’s economy, as well as consideration of reports made by the state authorities and their officials.

Prime-Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Chairman
Aide to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Deputy Chairman
Members of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan
Members of the Board of Directors of Samruk-Kazyna National Welfare Fund, JSC
Representative of Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan
The Ministry of National Economy is designated to serve as a working body of the State Commission.
