Kassym-Jomart Tokayev offered his sincere condolences to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, over the death of a prominent state and political figure of the United Arab Emirates, Minister of Finance and Industry Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
It is with deep sorrow that President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received the tragic news of the death of Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
“It is well known that Sheikh Hamdan was highly respected for his many years of impeccable work for the development and prosperity of the country, for the benefit and protection of the interests of the people of the United Arab Emirates. Kazakhstan will always remember your brother Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum as a loyal friend of our country, who made a significant contribution to the strengthening of bilateral relations. Your Excellency Sheikh Mohammed, sharing your irreparable pain, on behalf of all Kazakhstan people and on my own behalf, I express my condolences to you and the people of the Emirates, ” the telegram reads.
