Welcoming the UK top diplomat, the Head of State noted that his visit is significant in terms of further development of cooperation between both countries. Moreover, the visit is an important event at the regional scale.

“Your visit will give a very strong impetus to further enhance mutual cooperation between Kazakhstan and the UK. Indeed, it is a very important speech,” the Head of State said.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted the growing positive dynamics of bilateral relations.

“I would like to assess our mutual cooperation as very successful, particularly in the economic sphere and the political domain. We need to make additional efforts to push forward this very positive direction in our mutual cooperation”, the President said.

“Your country is the UK’s primary trading partner in the region. We are finding good opportunities to work together on the economic growth plans that you have.
