President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Khaled bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, visited School-Lyceum No. 84 named after Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan in Astana.
The distinguished guests were informed that the school currently educates 2,800 students, taught by 159 teachers. This academic year, the school launched the "Digital School" project and introduced a division of science and mathematics subjects into seven specialized tracks: IT STEM, FAB LAB, robotics, applied mathematics, bioengineering, mathematical modeling, and biochemistry.
President Tokayev and Sheikh Khaled toured the Arabic language classroom, where students showcased their knowledge of Arabic language and literature.
Students also guided the President of Kazakhstan and the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi through the school’s museum, which features an exhibition dedicated to the friendship and cooperation between the two nations. The display includes books on the history of the Arab world from ancient times to the present, examples of national attire, and historical artifacts.
