Kazakhstan’s Secretary of State Gulshara Abdykalikova meets with Vladimir Mirkovic, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Serbia in Kazakhstan, upon his diplomatic mission completion

Secretary of State Gulshara Abdykalikova has stressed that the relations between our countries are developing dynamically in the political, economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres. That is evidenced by the increasing cooperation at all levels, at the highest including.

Gulshara Abdykalikova also drew attention to the fact that the opening of a monument to the great Kazakh poet improviser Zhambyl Zhabayev in Belgrade by the Heads of Kazakhstan and Serbia in August 2016 had drawn a positive response in Kazakhstan.

The sides expressed satisfaction with the current dynamics of bilateral trade and economic cooperation progress. The trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Serbia for January-November 2016 amounted to 23.4 million US dollars. Today, Kazakhstan has more than 10 joint ventures with participation of the Serbian capital in the areas of wholesale and retail trade, construction of residential and non-residential buildings.

At the end of the meeting, Kazakhstan’s Secretary of State extended thanks to Ambassador Vladimir Mirkovic  for having established close and trustful political, economic and cultural-humanitarian cooperation between Kazakhstan and Serbia, and wished him good health, prosperity and success.
